While at this concrete in France… in 1985… even as I'm viewing this most unbelievable concert. I truly don't think those French people understood the greatness that SRV truly was!! Now if your French and where there to witness this, please tell us what it was like!! Don't hold back y'all!

This COVID19 brand of illusion is just a global cover to finalize the
receivership of the greatest bankruptcy in world history. “…the United
States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking
Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; Declared by President
    Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. H. J. R. 192, 73rd Cong.”

I might be in the minority on this, but this is not SRV’s most musical performance. He is tired and wired hard on drugs. They are playing like robots, over sharpened, playing on a metronome. It doesn’t swing and it’s not soulful.

the speed and accuracy of the fills he can perform on Scuttle Buttin can likely only be achieved through cocaine's direct aid to his already unfathomable natural ability and inhuman amount of devotion to practice… this level of playing will likely be unobtainable to 99.9% of guitar players who exist in the next several hundred years… the guitar itself has taken a backseat to computers and synthesizers. more importantly, Stevie's unique life journey of abuse and poverty and alcoholism combined in a way that would have killed most young men before they ever found time to devote thousands of hours to an instrument. the singer/songwriter who practices 18 hours a day and obsesses over their craft to the point of verging on insanity is a dying breed… they scoop these kids up today and ply them with ADHD medications or diagnose them with spectrum disorders… there will never be another master like SRV
